MiPACS products are used around the world by such customers as The United States Air Force, the United States Veterans Administration, and the United States Marine Corp, as well as in over 30 leading Dental Schools and Universities on three continents, and within hospitals and imaging clinics in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The MiPACS product line includes:
MiPACS Dental Enterprise Solution
The MiPACS Dental Enterprise Solution is the most widely used Medicor application, and is the clear market leader in its industry segment. First installed in 2004, MiPACS is the only imaging application that a dental enterprise needs to acquire, view, store and retrieve digital dental images, regardless of how large or how many dental clinics are in an organization. The MiPACS Dental Enterprise Solution is built in accordance with the DICOM 3.0 standard, is highly scalable, is independent of capture device hardware, and is very affordable.
MiPACS Storage Server
The MiPACS Storage Server is a scalable, user-friendly, fast, modular and affordable PACS image archive. Deployed as a standalone server to customers since 2005, MiPACS Storage Server is designed to work as the heart of a PACS (Patient Archive and Communication System), as well as a central repository for radiology and medical DICOM images and objects. MiPACS Storage Server supports DICOM Query/Retrieve and DICOM Storage services, and security features allow administrators to restrict access to DICOM services based on AE Title or IP Address.
MiPACS Broker
The MiPACS Broker was specifically designed to help HIS/RIS providers integrate DICOM study and visit management into their applications. The Broker includes complete support for the DICOM modality work-list service, which makes patient demographic and other scheduling information from a HIS/RIS available at the modality, eliminating dual data entry and guaranteeing data integrity. Modality Perform Procedure Step is also supported, allowing modalities to update the Broker and a HIS / RIS system with the status of requested imaging procedures. MiPACS Broker is designed in a way to make the data communication between the broker and the HIS/RIS easy, yet robust and comprehensive.
MiPACS Router
MiPACS Router is an add-on to MiPACS Storage Server which automates routing of images to workstations or other DICOM servers. A simple scripting language allows PACS administrators to create custom rules based on DICOM tags and other criteria to ensure that radiologist don’t waste time manually downloading images, and also that archive copies of images get to their intended destination. Since rules are based on scripts written by the PACS administrator and can be as simple or complex as necessary, the possibilities are endless for how MiPACS Router can make a PACS system more efficient by automating any storage task.
MiPACS Web Viewer
The MiPACS Web Viewer allows access to any image stored to the MiPACS Storage Server from any computer with web access – no installation required. With a thick viewer experience right inside a web browser, users can use familiar imaging tools such as window/level, zoom, cine controls, and region of interest; and familiar display options like stack view, series view, and multiple viewers on one screen. MiPACS Web Viewer can provide an imaging center with the ability to give their referring doctors access to patient images without using CDs or print-outs.
