Other Supported Hardware
MiPACS Dental Enterprise Viewer seamlessly
integrates with the world’s most popular sensors, imaging
plate systems, digital panoramic devices, digital cameras,
scanners, and video sources. Unlike most imaging software
vendors, which require you to use their hardware as well,
MiPACS is an open platform application, leaving it up to you
to decide on the type of hardware. Your staff shouldn’t
be forced to learn three or four different software applications
when MiPACS has simplified digital imaging workflow by using
one application for every imaging device.
TWAIN Support
Any device with a TWAIN driver will work with MiPACS
Dental Enterprise Viewer. This includes flatbed scanners,
digital still cameras, phosphor plate scanner, and more.
Auto-Import
Many popular digital cameras and memory card readers
appear as a disk drive. MiPACS Auto-Import can be set up to
monitor these drives for new images and automatically import
images into MiPACS (and delete them from the drive/card if
desired).
Video Devices
Any video device using Video For Windows, DirectShow,
or Firewire DV is supported in MiPACS for video capture.
